Hi everyone- here are the latest photos as promised by Jessica yesterday. I tried to edit them, but they are all so good that I couldn't leave any out!

I'm attaching a few more photos for you. The first few are of the warehouse sorting at Fresh Mark(food that was too spoiled to be sold, but available for free for Angela to use at Kondwa). Dad, Angela, Joan, Mr. Zimba (the caretaker at Kondwa) and I sorted fruits and veggies for about 2 hours - and then had the gross job of unpacking everything back at Kondwa. Many potatoes got squished - and we were completely swarmed by flies eager to feast on such fermented delicasies. At first we were very picky about what we took and what we left behind, but once you realize people are starving, you figure that they'll take the time to cut off the bad bits.

There are also photos of the clinic (held at flying Angels School). I think they are all pretty self explanatory... lots of people waiting to be seen - and very crude conditions for examining people properly. Joan worked as a medical assistant - I played with the kids. She is still healthy, I was sicker than a dog the last 4 days!

The photos of Mary, Martha and Benard are pics of Benard's three youngest kids. I adore them - and after a few days of terrifying little Benard whenever I came near him (he's had limited access to Muzungus- the local name for white people) he now will let me pick him up and has even ventured so far as to call me Jesca when prompted by his sisters. Love these kids!

The good news is that I'm feeling better today. Dad has rented a car and he and Joan are coming to fetch me so we can spend the day at the Kasisi agricultural centre. Tomorrow I will be doing some community school visits with Donald at Care, and on Wednesday Dad and Brian will run another clinic.
